Golden Beach Resort, Hurghada

My stay at the hotel was a mix of plus and minus points. The rooms were not up to standard with unclean conditions and the need for maintenance. The A/C and heating didn't work, there was no hot water, and the beds were uncomfortably firm. On the upside, there was a possibility to upgrade rooms and the room service was decent.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and perfect for families, although the view overlooked a derelict building site. The service was polite and excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. The location was beautiful with a lovely beach bar, and the dining experience was tasty with fresh products. The service, especially from staff like Mohammed and Yassa at the 007 beach bar, was welcoming and friendly. The location is quite lovely with beautiful gardens and trees, but it is far from the downtown area. The dining experience was accompanied by bored staff and not the best in terms of variety. The hotel has some refurbished rooms, though my booked room ended up being smaller and different.
